I traded in my little black dresses for yoga pants when I became the mother to a very adorable little boy.
We found out about our little surprise in February 2016. I’m a researcher. I scour the internet for hours to the point of obsession when I’m trying to learn about a topic. Motherhood was all very new to me and as much as I tried to prepare I’m constantly encountering new topics.
I always knew I wanted to breastfeed. About six weeks into our breastfeeding journey, I figured out my son had food sensitivities. After eliminating dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, peanuts and other random legumes (beans were fine, but chickpeas not so much) my son finally started to feel better and so did I.
Breastfeeding for a food allergy baby can be very stressful but it is doable! I will share tips I’ve learned along the way along with easy healthy recipes and other parenting life hacks.
We live in sunny St Petersburg, FL. Aside from our son, we also have a fur baby named Machismo who is 13 years young.
